Do you just sit there and listen?

No. Listening is essential, but I'm an active therapist. I participate in the conversation, ask questions, offer observations and help you explore different ways of understanding what's happening.

Do I have to talk about my childhood?

Only if it's relevant. The purpose of exploring the past isn't to live there. It's to understand how earlier experiences may still be influencing your present.

How long will therapy take?

That depends on what brings you in and what you want from therapy. Some people come for focused, short-term work around a specific issue. Others want deeper, longer-term work.

We'll talk about your goals together rather than assigning you an emotional expiration date.

What if I've tried therapy before?

That's common. Sometimes the timing wasn't right. Sometimes the therapist wasn't right. Sometimes you've changed. Sometimes you understood something intellectually but never quite felt it emotionally.

We start where you are now.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes. I provide telehealth therapy for clients located in California.

Do you work with couples?

Yes.

Do you provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy?

Yes, for appropriate clients following consultation and screening and in coordination with appropriate medical care.
